Counseling Information

Our district’s School Counseling Program is prevention-oriented, helping students build the educational, social, emotional, and career-planning skills needed to become productive, responsible citizens and life-long learners.

My Role as School Counselor

  • Small-group support (social skills, friendship, family changes, self-esteem, school success). Students can join groups throughout the year.
  • Individual meetings for peer conflicts, academics, family changes, grief, anger management, and more.
  • Classroom lessons on academic success, social skills, self-management, protective behaviors, careers, and mental wellness (listening, cooperation, friendship, bullying, personal safety).
  • Consultation with teachers, staff, administrators, parents/guardians, and community resources.
  • Partnering with families to help each child reach their social, emotional, and academic potential.

Please reach out if there’s anything I can do to support your child this year.
